While assembling material for this book, the editors also collected those covers of American Rifleman magazine that have featured Ruger firearms, and selected eight of them for inclusion. These covers, plus a full-page color illlustration of the millionth Ruger Standard pistol, are interspersed throughout the pages of the book, accompanying the articles that they headlined.
